LEGO Instructions Manager (LIM)
Flask web app for organising LEGO instruction manuals — official sets and MOCs (My Own Creations).

Architecture
- Flask with modular
app/package: separateservices/,routes/(blueprints), models, templates - SQLAlchemy + SQLite (PostgreSQL planned for production); Bootstrap 5 front end
- PDF/image instruction uploads; PyMuPDF for PDF thumbnails, Pillow for cover image optimisation
- Brickset API for auto-populating set details
- Auth with admin panel, user management, stats dashboard, role-based access
- MOC numbering via
MOCNumberGenerator— global sequence,MOC-0001format
Deployment
- Windows host at
E:\LIM, Python 3.14, served with waitress - Auto-start via
start_lim.bat+ Task Scheduler (setup_startup.bat)
Conventions
- Flexible dependency ranges; minimums for Py 3.14: PyMuPDF ≥1.24.0, Pillow ≥11.0.0, SQLAlchemy ≥2.0.35
- Quote version specifiers on Windows (
pip install "pkg>=x") — unquoted>creates stray files
